After years of dealing with constantly feeling exhausted, experiencing severe bloating, gas, and heartburn after eating, and wondering why my hormones were so out of whack, I was becoming resigned to the idea that I might have to simply accept these issues as part of my life. Consulting with doctors hadn’t provided the answers I needed so I started to do my own research. I wanted to better understand my body and came to realize how vital lifestyle and, primarily, diet, are for health. I quit my office job and returned to school to study holistic nutrition in depth and haven’t looked back since.
With my new knowledge I also found empowerment. I realized that things didn’t just have to happen to me, I could take charge and make the changes that I wanted to see happen. Now with increased energy, a much happier tummy, and a healthy glow, I found my passion helping others look and feel their best by developing better habits and treating their bodies right.
Combining my nutrition knowledge with an extensive sports and training background has allowed me to help others achieve their health and fitness goals in a healthy, holistic way. Whether you have specific goals (weight loss, muscle building, improving digestive issues, etc.) or want to improve your overall health with a proactive approach, there is no ‘one size fits all’ plan. Everyone is unique and all aspects (physical, mental, and emotional) must be considered when making a comprehensive plan for helping someone achieve their goals.
